TOURISM Greater Geelong and the Bellarine (TGGB) are inviting all businesses in the region to take advantage of free membership to the organisation for the rest of this year.<\/p>\n

Subscribers will not only enjoy the benefits of being part of TGGB’s network but will also get an online listing with the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse and thus be considered for the state government’s “Click for Vic” campaign.<\/p>\n

TGGB business development manager Di Nelson said the tourism industry was collaborating to rebuild the region after the easing of COVID-19 restrictions on travel and trade.<\/p>\n

“Tourism Greater Geelong and The Bellarine exists to grow and support the visitor economy.<\/p>\n

“Subscribers will receive our communications, including tailored information from the government and industry leaders for businesses who serve visitors, you will also be able to take part in any of our online training sessions.<\/p>\n

“For businesses directly involved in serving visitors \u2013 accommodation, hospitality, attractions, events, retail, provedore and tours \u2013 an online listing with the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse valued at $295 is included with your free subscription.<\/p>\n

“This will ensure your business is featured in the online platforms at Visit Victoria and Visit Geelong Bellarine, which are the heart of state and regional recovery marketing campaigns.<\/p>\n

“Over the coming months, it will be critical that we work together to put our region at the forefront of minds for visitors to support your businesses and our community.”<\/p>\n

TGGB is also promoting its “See You Soon” video to help drive visitation back to Geelong and the Bellarine.<\/p>\n

The 60-second \u201cSee You Soon\u201d video, launched in June, features nine businesses, what they\u2019ve been up to during the lockdown and the key message that they can\u2019t wait to welcome you back<\/p>\n

“So, there\u2019s going to be more industry support, more regional promotion and there\u2019s absolutely no cost for the rest of 2020,” Ms Nelson said.<\/p>\n
