{"id":3539,"date":"2017-12-08T07:19:28","date_gmt":"2017-12-08T07:19:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/?p=3539"},"modified":"2017-12-08T07:19:28","modified_gmt":"2017-12-08T07:19:28","slug":"barwon-heads-gullvanising-womens-football","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/news\/barwon-heads-gullvanising-womens-football\/","title":{"rendered":"Barwon Heads gullvanising women\u2019s football"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Barwon heads Football and Netball Club (BhFNC) is proud to be one of the 10 clubs chosen to field a seniors women\u2019s team in the 2018 AFL Barwon competition and are looking for people to them on this historic journey.<\/p>\n<p>The BhFNC see the women\u2019s and girl\u2019s football divisions as an integral part to the future of the club.<\/p>\n<p>The BhFNC has established a female football pathway program, fielding teams last season in the Under 12, Under 15 and Under 19 age groups.<\/p>\n<p>Next season, the club will field Under 12, Under 15, Under 18 and senior football teams.<\/p>\n<p>The senior women\u2019s football program will run in parallel with the senior men\u2019s program, which has a rich history in developing talent and delivering results.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone interested in playing in the Under 18 or senior women\u2019s footy, email admin@barwonheadsfnc.org.au.<\/p>\n<p>With the increase in women\u2019s football participation, there is now a vacancy for the newly created role of Director of Women\u2019s Football.<\/p>\n<p>This person will need to be passionate about women\u2019s football and work with the Director of Men\u2019s Football and the Director of Junior Football to further create an integrated one-club approach to football.<\/p>\n<p>For anyone interested in this role, email Garry Read (BhFNC secretary) on admin@barwonheadsfnc.org.au by Friday November 10.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a role open for a Senior Women\u2019s Football Coach and Under 18 Girls Team Coach.<\/p>\n<p>If anyone is interested in the role, submit an expression of interest stating any relevant coaching and playing experience, coaching qualifications (Level 2 accreditation minimum) and any other relevant experience, qualifications, employment and other sport participation.<\/p>\n<p>Applications for the coaching roles close Friday November 17.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, visit barwonheadsfnc.org.au.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Barwon heads Football and Netball Club (BhFNC) is proud to be one of the 10 clubs chosen to field a seniors women\u2019s team in the 2018 AFL Barwon competition and are looking for people to them on this historic journey.
