Treble made 91 while skipper Driver was unbeaten on 70 as the pair led the side to 5-226 at the completion of its 50 overs.<\/p>\n
In response, Marshall looked to be in a strong position to track down the score at 1-117, but a telling run-out saw classy opener Corey Walter, who formed a strong partnership with Jack Cole (54), dismissed for 60. There was minimal resistance from the rest of the order, only contributing 40 runs as Marshall were all out for 175 off 46 overs.<\/p>\n
In the remaining round one matches, Bell Post Hill stormed through Modewarre, Ben Popovski (4-15) and Ben Muir (4-9) did the damage to dismiss Modewarre for 70, the Panthers tracking the score down with eight wickets to spare.<\/p>\n
A half-century from David Toft (52) helped Bell Park to 8-202 which proved a task too strong for St Peters, who fell 91 runs short.<\/p>\n
Torquay made a winning start to its campaign, posting 197 runs against Alexander Thomson.<\/p>\n
