Geelong\u2019s Toast to the Coast is fast approaching and this year there are more than just award-winning wines on the menu, with unique food creations and alcohol-free delights available for the whole family this weekend.<\/p>\n
Moorabool Valley winery Austins & Co. will be taking it to the next level with their \u201cFestival in the Vines\u201d concept.<\/p>\n
Managing director Scott Austin said that there would be an exciting range of activities on offer for festival-goers to celebrate.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis year we\u2019re hosting \u2018Festival in the Vines\u2019 with a stellar line-up of food vendors and entertainment to compliment our wines that will make you want to stay here all day,\u201d Scott said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWine tastings will be flowing all weekend including 6Ft6 and your Austins & Co. favourites, plus our famous fros\u00e9 and frozen prosecco margaritas to enjoy along with beer, cider and coffee for those that need to mix it up.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Gypsy\u2019s Lunchbox will be serving up American-influenced gourmet barbecue-style fare. Think pulled meats, sliders, burgers and southern-fried chicken.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve also got the team from 196 Below creating customised ice-cream flavours just for you, including Ros\u00e9 sorbet and Aperol Spritz gelato. It\u2019s the ultimate ice-cream experience for the whole family with non-alcoholic flavours also available for the kids.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will have a chill-out area with lawn games and plenty of seating, and a kid\u2019s zone with cupcake decorating, art easels, sandpit, face painting and balloon-making.\u201d<\/p>\n
Former X Factor contestant Nick Tabone will be playing smooth tunes all weekend, while guests can also create memories in the Shutterhub Photobooth.<\/p>\n
Austins & Co. is located at 870 Steiglitz Road, Sutherlands Creek in the Moorabool Valley, one of three regions participating in Toast to the Coast.<\/p>\n
