{"id":36541,"date":"2020-12-17T00:39:47","date_gmt":"2020-12-16T14:39:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/?p=36541"},"modified":"2020-12-16T12:28:29","modified_gmt":"2020-12-16T02:28:29","slug":"artists-sought-arts-trail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/news\/artists-sought-arts-trail\/","title":{"rendered":"Artists sought for Northern Bellarine Peninsula Arts Trail"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ARTISTS are being sought to join the next edition of the Northern Bellarine Peninsula Arts Trail, which will be held in April.<\/p>\n<p>Event convenors Linda Gallus and Kaye Clancy said after a successful inaugural trail last year, the Northern Bellarine Peninsula Arts Trail was again inviting artists who owned their own studios for expressions of interest to take part.<\/p>\n<p>The arts trail&#8217;s aim is to network locally and to get artists to meet each other, make friendships and to nurture, and also to create a supportive environment for those who are usually working away in their own studios.<\/p>\n<p>Participating artists will need to be living on the Northern Bellarine Peninsula, which includes Moolap, Leopold, Drysdale, Curlewis, Clifton Springs, Portarlington, St Leonards, Indented Head, Mannerim and Wallington.<\/p>\n<p>Being involved in the arts trail could involve exhibiting, selling and demonstrating your techniques to the public in your own studio or local gallery or caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Clancy and Ms Gallus said despite the rainy weather, the 2019 event attracted huge numbers of people visiting from far and wide.<\/p>\n<p>The Northern Bellarine Peninsula Arts Trail will be take place on the weekend of April 10-11, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The City of Greater Geelong is promoting this event as part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geelongcityofdesign.com.au\/geelong-design-week\/\">Geelong Design Week<\/a>, and it is also supported by Springdale Neighbourhood Centre, Bendigo Bank, and Blue Ink Incorporated.<\/p>\n<p>Expressions of interest close at the end of this month.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, email Kaye Clancy at <strong>kceramics@bigpond.com<\/strong> or Linda Gallus at <strong>lindagallus54@gmail.com<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ARTISTS are being sought to join the next edition of the Northern Bellarine Peninsula Arts Trail, which will be held in April.
