{"id":3657,"date":"2017-12-11T08:32:13","date_gmt":"2017-12-11T08:32:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/?p=3657"},"modified":"2017-12-11T08:32:13","modified_gmt":"2017-12-11T08:32:13","slug":"get-gutful-baddreems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/living\/get-gutful-baddreems\/","title":{"rendered":"Get a gutful of Bad\/\/Dreems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Adelaide\u2019s Bad\/\/Dreems will be performing tunes from their album Gutful at one of Australia\u2019s most iconic festivals, taking audiences back to rock\u2019n\u2019roll roots.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bad\/\/Dreems guitarist Alex Cameron is looking forward to performing at the Falls Festival in Lorne for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe guys and I are very excited to  share our music at Falls,\u201d Alex said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFalls Festival has such a good reputation in Australia, it\u2019ll be great fun and a great opportunity to meet and watch other artists.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Their 2017 album Gutful has the usual rock\u2019n\u2019roll love songs fans have grown to love, but the guys have taken a new approach with the album title track, taking inspiration from the world\u2019s political situation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s based heavily around Trump and foreign politics, what needs to be said and how the average person is taking the current political state of the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The album was recorded by production team Mark Opitz (known for his work with INXS, the Angels and Cold Chisel) and Colin Wynne at their West Brunswick studio in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The album was tracked live to capture the precarious energy of a Bad\/\/Dreems live show, an atmosphere only Falls Festival guests will get to experience.<\/p>\n<p>Along with songs of life, love and politics, audiences can expect a sweaty performance with traditional rock\u2019n\u2019roll vibes from the boys of Bad\/\/Dreems.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are no bells and whistles or pyrotechnics.
