THE Northern Bellarine Peninsula Arts Trail is back after a coronavirus-induced hiatus.<\/p>\n

After the very successful staging of the 2019 event, Linda Gallus and Kaye Clancy decided to run it again.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s trail, from April 10-11, will be bigger than last time and 30 venues across the northern Bellarine Peninsula are taking part.<\/p>\n

Some exhibitions have already been set up in studios, cafes, galleries and halls. Artists include:<\/p>\n

Drysdale\u2019s Art 16 Art Gallery and Studio will showcase the work of up to 20 artists in its galley, in many different mediums, mainly from in and around the Bellarine Peninsula. One of these is Steve Pratt (H Doc Art), a boilermaker by trade who makes unique, hand-formed steel art\/sculpture\/garden art from recycled, unwanted steel<\/p>\n

The Springdale Neighbourhood House in the main street of Drysdale will host separate painting and textiles exhibitions<\/p>\n

Merav Cohen is one of seven artists exhibiting at the Indented Head Hall. She is inspired by the depths of self-discovery and in analysing and depicting her dreams. Merav uses her own intuition to depict a response to texture, colour and the light she sees in shadows and nature<\/p>\n

Gillian Turner owns Black Fish Gallery\/Studio in Drysdale and will be showing mostly photographic work<\/p>\n

Tuckerberry Hill is exhibiting art by Gillian Turner, Sue Howard, Annie Finkelde, Beryl Stott, Robyn Leach, Jenny Macaulay, Justine Martin, Beth Sternbeck, Marlyse Carroll, Kaye Clancy and Linda Gallus<\/p>\n

The Healing Art Group meets at The Salvation Army centre in Clifton Springs. This group of artists support each other and work together using a variety of mediums, including inks, acrylics, water colour and pastels<\/p>\n

Patricia Norton, tutor of the current U3A Portarlington Painting Group, will have her artwork on display in the Historic Old Mill in Portarlington.<\/p>\n

The artists are distributing trail maps and flyers around the towns.<\/p>\n
