UP to 2,000 people packed into Ocean Grove\u2019s main street for this year\u2019s Christmas in the Grove.<\/p>\n
Ocean Grove Business Association president Ty Simons said the event along The Terrace and surrounding shopping areas was a wonderful success, with most of the shops having specials and stalls to promote shopping locally in the town.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere were wonderful local musicians, face painting, balloon sculpturing, free cupcakes, photo booths for all ages, hair braiding, bouncing castle, sausage sizzles, street food style offers, launches of a couple of new shops, giveaways, Santa, sunshine and a wonderful community spirit,\u201d Mr Simons said.<\/p>\n
\u201cClosing the road meant that it was a safe place for all, and this is something we may do again around Easter, so watch this space.\u201d<\/p>\n
