THE Jan Juc Playgroup has enjoyed its last celebration for the year \u2013 its Christmas Party.<\/p>\n

Held at Bob Pettit Reserve on Thursday, mums, dads and children enjoyed singing and face painting by Willow Star, the Lions train and craft provided by local family daycare providers.<\/p>\n

There was a raffle with donations from local businesses, which raised valuable funds to keep the playgroup running.<\/p>\n

Special guests were Surf Coast Shire mayor David Bell, Cr Rose Hodge and Santa.<\/p>\n

The Jan Juc Playgroup is volunteer run and offers three open sessions each week as well as closed sessions for mother\u2019s groups.<\/p>\n

The group has had a fabulous year with an increase in membership and a brand new outside playspace, funded by the shire.<\/p>\n

The Jan Juc Playgroup is welcoming new members, follow their Facebook page or email janjucpg@gmail.com.<\/p>\n
