She keeps busy with a craft group on Monday, cards on Wednesday and indoor bowls on Thursdays. She also enjoys regular visits from her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>A unique opportunity has arisen to join Lois and others who\u2019ve decided to call Star of the Sea home, with a limited number of homes now available for sale. Open for inspections are scheduled for December and January.<\/p>\n<p>Retirement Village coordinator Robyn Leahy said interested parties should \u201cget in quick\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe encourage people to give us a call and take a tour as homes are snapped up really quickly, particularly around the holiday season when people realise what a stunning location we are in,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is plenty of demand, especially now we have completed the adjacent 96-bed aged care residence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we get older, it\u2019s so important to consider our futures. There is a sense of security and peace of mind knowing a higher level of care is available just next door.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Star of the Sea Village is located at 1 Headland Drive, Torquay and is open for inspection Monday to Friday (weekends by appointment).
