QUEENSCLIFFE Neighbourhood House volunteers will host their 20th Sand Sculpture Contest next month.<\/p>\n
Locals and visitors are invited to take part in the competition, which will be located on Queenscliff beach, in front of the Neighbourhood House, on January 7 between 10am and noon.<\/p>\n
Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place getters in age categories for singles and groups, adults and children.<\/p>\n
Back at the Neighbourhood House, a Second Hand Book Sale of great holiday reads will be on offer throughout the morning.<\/p>\n
Stay for lunch and try the delicious barbecue run by the town\u2019s Men\u2019s Shed and enjoy listening to the Sea of Ukes perform.<\/p>\n
Please let the Neighbourhood House know if you can give volunteers a hand with pegging the beach, marshalling the troops or selling the books.<\/p>\n
The cost to enter the sand sculpture competition is $5 for singles and $10 for a group.<\/p>\n
