PORT Phillip Ferries has extended its Saturday route between Portarlington and Geelong until the end of January.<\/p>\n

The added route came after the company celebrated its first anniversary of crossing the bay between Portarlington and Docklands.<\/p>\n

Port Phillip Ferries initially committed its passenger service between Portarlington and Docklands for three years.<\/p>\n

However, chief executive officer Murray Rance said that after seeing the results of its first year of operation, the company was looking to extend that into the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn fact, just this month saw the inclusion of a new service route every Saturday afternoon between Portarlington and Geelong,\u201d Mr Rance said last month.<\/p>\n
