A NEW positive COVID-19 case has been identified in Geelong, with two additional Tier 2 exposure sites \u2013 Coles Waurn Ponds and Xavier\u2019s Kebabs \u2013 added to the growing list.<\/p>\n
Pop-up testing sites are open today at Deakin University, Waurn Ponds (Peter Thwaites Lecture Theatre, Alfred Deakin Drive), the Geelong Showgrounds (enter via Gate 2, Breakwater Road), and Beckley Park, Broderick Road, Corio.<\/p>\n
Barwon Health’s testing sites have extended hours to cater for increased demand and the community is encouraged to attend the site closest to them if they need testing.<\/p>\n
If you have attended any of these sites at the dates and times listed, you must get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result:<\/p>\n

Barwon Health\u2019s Professor Eugene Athan said Barwon Health was working with the Department of Health to investigate the exposures, with contact tracing underway.<\/p>\n
