{"id":46799,"date":"2021-11-17T08:16:01","date_gmt":"2021-11-16T21:16:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/?p=46799"},"modified":"2021-11-17T08:16:01","modified_gmt":"2021-11-16T21:16:01","slug":"bellarine-music-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/news\/bellarine-music-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Bellarine Music Festival announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A NEW music festival launches next month to showcase everything great about the Bellarine Peninsula \u2013 wide open spaces, vineyards and live music.<\/p>\n<p>The Bellarine Music Festival kicks off on December 11 with an impressive line-up of Aussie music royalty and the excitement doesn\u2019t stop for the rest of the month, with shows at Bellarine Estate every Saturday and Sunday, excluding the Christmas weekend.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a special New Year\u2019s Day event to celebrate 2022 in proper style.<\/p>\n<p>Organised by Premier Artists, the aim of the outdoor concert series is to get live music happening in the regions again, with a line-up that features the likes of Brian Mannix &amp; The Androids, Ross Wilson &amp; The Peaceniks, Daryl Braithwaite, Forever 80s, and The Black Sorrows, plus many more across the month.<\/p>\n<p>Brad O\u2019Brien from Premier Artists said the team had been working diligently behind the scenes to release a series of shows supporting Australian talent, with more to come.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTeaming up with Bellarine Estate and MoonMother, where we have run successful shows in the past, was the logical place to launch the Bellarine Music Festival.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s great to get back into regional Victoria where we can provide entertainment for the locals, as well as attract lots of other visitors to the region. We are aiming these as very intimate COVID-safe concerts to get people back to live outdoor music.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The first concert in the series kicks off on December 11 with an impressive line-up featuring Brian Mannix &amp; The Androids, The Chantoozies and Taxiride. The next day on December 12, the event is headlined by Ross Wilson &amp; The Peaceniks, The Badloves and Kings Canyon.<\/p>\n<p>The series returns the following weekend on December 18 with Daryl Braithwaite and JR Reyne, and on December 19 with Forever 80s and JR Reyne. A special New Year\u2019s Day event is scheduled for January 1 with The Black Sorrows and Darlinghurst.<\/p>\n<p>Mr O&#8217;Brien said there was accommodation available on the Bellarine Peninsula and hoped music lovers would make a trip out of the event and see what else the region has to offer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccess to the Bellarine Peninsula is excellent via road, or sea now with the Port Phillip Ferries direct from Docklands.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for the Bellarine Music Festival are on sale now.
