{"id":46946,"date":"2021-11-25T04:00:01","date_gmt":"2021-11-24T17:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/?p=46946"},"modified":"2021-11-24T15:40:29","modified_gmt":"2021-11-24T04:40:29","slug":"live-music-bellarine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/news\/live-music-bellarine\/","title":{"rendered":"Live music heads back to the Bellarine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LIVE music events are coming back to the Bellarine Peninsula, with the Bellarine Music Festival to run throughout next month and By The Pier to take place in March.<\/p>\n<p>The Bellarine Music Festival kicks off on December 11 with an impressive line-up of Aussie music royalty and the excitement doesn\u2019t stop for the rest of the month, with shows at the Bellarine Estate winery every Saturday and Sunday excluding the Christmas weekend.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a special New Year\u2019s Day event to celebrate 2022 in proper style.<\/p>\n<p>Organised by Premier Artists, the aim of the outdoor concert series is to get live music happening in the regions again, with a line-up that features the likes of Brian Mannix &amp; The Androids, Ross Wilson &amp; The Peaceniks, Daryl Braithwaite, Forever 80s, and The Black Sorrows, plus many more.<\/p>\n<p>Brad O\u2019Brien from Premier Artists said the team had been working diligently behind the scenes to release a series of shows supporting Australian talent, with more to come.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTeaming up with Bellarine Estate and MoonMother, where we have run successful shows in the past, was the logical place to launch the Bellarine Music Festival.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s great to get back into regional Victoria where we can provide entertainment for the locals, as well as attract lots of other visitors to the region.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_46948\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-46948\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-46948\" src=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/11\/Untitled-design-2-2-1024x538.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/11\/Untitled-design-2-2-1024x538.png 1024w, https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/11\/Untitled-design-2-2-300x158.png 300w, https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/11\/Untitled-design-2-2-768x403.png 768w, https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/11\/Untitled-design-2-2.png 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-46948\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Bellarine Music Festival will feature a swathe of Aussie artists, including Ross Wilson.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Queenscliff&#8217;s new music festival By The Pier, presented by the team behind the Queenscliff Music Festival, revealed the lineup for its first edition on Monday this week.<\/p>\n<p>Running across the last weekend of March in an intimate festival format, the headliners will be San Cisco on March 25; Client Liason, Julia Stone and Briggs on March 26; and Vera Blue on March 27.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets will be limited with a single outdoor stage set up on the familiar festival stomping ground of the Queenscliff foreshore, all aimed at providing a vibrant three days of sensational sounds, gourmet food trucks, bars, and a DJ tent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re super excited to see the return of music festivals and to be able to present such a stellar line up of Aussie artists for our inaugural event,\u201d By The Pier director Andrew Orvis said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can\u2019t wait to party in Queenscliff with you in March.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for the Bellarine Music Festival are on sale now.
