Committed and resourceful community activist Vicki Perrett won last year\u2019s inaugural award, which was contended by a shortlist of five women.<\/p>\n
The award honours Monica Hayes, a feminist, community leader and activist who died in August 2016 from motor neurone disease, and recognises the significant achievements and contributions of women to community life.<\/p>\n
A cash prize and a unique glass art piece will be presented to the winner at the Northern Bellarine International Women’s Day brunch hosted by Terindah Estate on March 6.<\/p>\n
Application forms are available at the Bendigo Bank in Portarlington in January.<\/p>\n
The closing date for applications is Tuesday February 20.<\/p>\n
