THE City of Greater Geelong\u2019s Parks and Gardens team in Drysdale has been praised for its hard work and ongoing maintenance of the streetscapes, parks and gardens around the town.<\/p>\n
Michael McFadyen, Julian Butterss, Geoff Pugh and Peter Raines have collectively maintained the parks, open spaces, reserves and streetscapes around Drysdale and the Bellarine for more than 40 years.<\/p>\n
Recently, traders in the town showed their appreciation for the team by signing a card to say thanks for their dedicated work keeping open spaces and gardens in great shape.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s really pleasing that the team has been recognised by the community they serve for the work they do every day,\u201d City of Greater Geelong chief executive officer Kelvin Spiller said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Parks and Gardens teams do a fantastic job keeping our public open spaces tidy and looking great for everyone to enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n
