Werribee Open Range Zoo\u2019s popular after-hours wildlife experience, Sunset Safari, has returned for an exciting fourth season.<\/p>\n

Visitors can experience the zoo\u2019s glorious Savannah during a personalised safari bus tour as the sunset illuminates the open range, as well as exploring the walking trails to witness some of the world\u2019s most iconic animals including rhinoceros, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, lions and hippopotamus.<\/p>\n

Zoo guides will also share their knowledge about ongoing efforts to fight wildlife extinction.<\/p>\n

The tour includes interactive and authentic performances of drums, song and dance to the rhythm and soul of Africa, and comes with a range of food and beverage options \u2013 including bistro dining, canap\u00e9s, cocktails and an African village braai.<\/p>\n

Werribee Open Range Zoo director Glen Holland said Sunset Safari is an authentic African-inspired experience that people can encounter just minutes from home.<\/p>\n

\u201cSunset Safari allows visitors to experience the essence of Africa, and there\u2019s no plane ticket required,\u201d Mr Holland said.<\/p>\n

Sunset Safari runs 5.30pm to 9pm each Saturday and Sunday until March 13.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Entry to the special after-hours event costs $59 for adults and $29 for children.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
