Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOften this won\u2019t fit into a wake cycle for their baby and can have a big impact on their routine, so it may just not be practical for a mum to prioritise accessing these supports.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A PhD Candidate in Women\u2019s Health and Exercise in Pregnancy, Ms Humphrys has teamed up with personal trainer and female health and performance coach Flick Ryan and local mum and doula Beth McDonald to form the \u2018Bellarine Mum\u2019s Support Network\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChatting to some of my clients who are new mums on the Bellarine and the Surf Coast, many of them have said they had no idea what services were available or who to see if they were in pain, or struggling with feeding, or needing guidance around what exercise they could do at certain stages of pregnancy and after birth without injuring themselves,\u201d Ms Humphrys said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt really depends on who you know, and it shouldn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_50383\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-50383\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-50383\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/03\/1647482826892_46215-e1648598278701.jpg?_t=1648598280\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"536\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-50383\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Flick is seeking to help local mums keep fit during and after pregnancy.
