QUEENSCLIFF and Point Lonsdale businesses are celebrating a new state government grant that could see a quarter of expenses dashed for customers across the borough.<\/p>\n
Borough of Queenscliffe visitors could become eligible for 25 per cent rebates on a range of experiences following the announcement of a $60 million Victorian Government Dining and Entertainment program.<\/p>\n
“Visiting the Borough of Queenscliffe is an unforgettable experience, creating memories that will last a lifetime,” owner of local entertainment provider The Blues Train, Hugo Armstrong said.<\/p>\n
“We welcome you to this unique part of Australia.”<\/p>\n
The program offers customers up to $125 cash back on food and entertainment expenditures such as dining out during the week, visiting galleries and museums, or even tickets to a live show.<\/p>\n
Borough of Queenscliffe mayor Ross Ebbels said the program offers potential visitors the best time to visit the region in terms of affordability.<\/p>\n
“Whether you’re seeing a show on the famous Blues Train, dining out at Plated Point Lonsdale, or listening to a talk at the Queenscliff Literary Festival, there’s no better time to take a trip to the borough,” Cr Ebbels said.<\/p>\n
