Under new ownership, the Torquay Hotel has rung in the New Year with a bang.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Co-owner Joel Taylor was really pleased with how the New Year\u2019s Eve event ran and looks forward to the rest of the summer line-up.<\/p>\n

\u201cSunday night was a huge success. We had over 600 people through the doors to enjoy the live music and food on offer,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone loved Mister Meaner and the vibes in the beer garden early in the evening with DJ Moby Disc were fantastic. \u201cIt was just one of those nights where everyone had a great time and left very tired.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Torquay Hotel also has the rest of the Surf Coast summer entertainment sorted, with live music for a solid two weeks throughout January.<\/p>\n

Tonight will see Luke Legs Duo and DJ Merve on the decks, Friday night Sydney artist Duan & Only will be playing, Saturday night Luke Legs Duo is back, followed by DJ Brendan Yuen and Sunday Simon Phillips will be taking over the beer garden.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur line-up will be different to what has been organised the past few years,\u201d Joel said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve teamed up with a local booking agent to curate a unique list of local quality artists including solo, duo and trio acts.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo far the regulars and Surf Coast visitors have enjoyed the change of pace at the Torquay Hotel which is great to see.\u201d<\/p>\n

There will also be subtle changes made to the menu at the Torquay Hotel, with introduction of an all-day menu from 11.30am to 9.30pm.<\/p>\n
