SNAKES, bats, koalas and birds proved a hit with the children at last week\u2019s Batman Management Group Bellarine Cup.<\/p>\n

The Australian wildlife visited Geelong Racing Club on Thursday with zoologist Chris Humfrey and his Wild Action.<\/p>\n

The team from Wild Action taught children all about the animals and the importance of saving them.<\/p>\n

During the race day, youngsters also received backpacks full of goodies and the team from Kelly Sports taught them some skills.<\/p>\n

In its third year, guests dressed to impress and enjoyed the Bellarine\u2019s world-class food and wine during a three-course meal served in the Silks Room at Geelong Racecourse, which raised $7,750 for Kids Plus Foundation.<\/p>\n

Bay FM\u2019s Roxie Bennett hosted the luncheon, and entertainment was provided by Matthew Charles and KK.<\/p>\n
