Match play golf is reputed to be the best form of golf.<\/p>\n<p>This year, for the first time the event is open to both Men and Women.<\/p>\n<p>Round of the Week \u2013 Hayden Butterworth with a scorching 47 on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Eagles: Hayden Butterworth on the 14th on Sunday; Doug Parkin on the 1st on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday December 31: Mixed Stableford: 26 Players \u2013 Hayden Butterworth (12) proved that last Sunday\u2019s 46 points was no fluke by going one better with 47. Next best was Jarrod Leonard (16) on 40.<\/p>\n<p>Monday January 1: Happy New Year to all. Tuesday January 2: Women 9 Hole Stableford \u2013 37 Players. Gail Casey shone to score 23 and win by 3 from Carmel Hughes.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday January 3: Men Stableford: &#8211; 182 Players: A Grade &#8211; Rick Lowe (10) 39 countback from Jackson Ristevski (7). B Grade \u2013 Matthew Remyn (16) 41 on countback from Michael Hutley (13).<\/p>\n<p>C Grade \u2013 Ron Acreman (20) 38 on countback from Bernie Drew (18). Golden Shot on 17th \u2013 Gael Charman ($50).<\/p>\n<p>Saturday January 6: Men Stableford \u2013 The hot temperatures saw our heat policy in action again, hence the reduced number of members being able to play.
