{"id":55269,"date":"2022-07-10T04:00:04","date_gmt":"2022-07-09T18:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/?p=55269"},"modified":"2022-07-07T16:48:17","modified_gmt":"2022-07-07T06:48:17","slug":"july-christmas-little-creatures-style","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/living\/july-christmas-little-creatures-style\/","title":{"rendered":"July Christmas, Little Creatures style"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Celebrate the winter holidays with Christmas in July at Little Creatures.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Winter is well and truly here, and what better way to celebrate than a cozy Christmas in July?<\/p>\n<p>Pull out your ugliest woollen sweaters and brave the chilly air because this winter holidays, Little Creatures Geelong is hosting the mid-year celebration.<\/p>\n<p>The event will fill the brewery with winter warming treats, spicy hot mulled apple cider, children\u2019s entertainment and workshops, and all things Christmas.<\/p>\n<p>According to Dave Wilson, operations manager at Little Creatures Brewery Geelong, everyone is welcome to come along to the night, with family-friendly fun for all \u2013 a core value at the Brewery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCommunity engagement is always front of mind in everything we do,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Christmas in July is the perfect way to people together during the colder months.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a great excuse to get out of the house this winter and enjoy Little Creatures hospitality,\u201d Wilson said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA warm, fun, cheerful night of delicious food and beer pairings, featuring Little Creatures\u2019 latest single batch release, Ancient Traveller \u2013 Ethiopian Black Barley Stout.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The family-friendly fun will run throughout the school holidays, with kids arts and craft on Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon- 3pm and Kids entertainment on Sundays from 1-3pm.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>What&#8217;s on this week?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Globetrotting folk songs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This Sunday, July 10 at 2.30pm, the Geelong Chorale presents <em>Around the World in 80 Minutes<\/em>, with a delightful collection of folk songs from all around the world. The night is sure to take you on an epic journey, filling the All Saints\u2019 Church in Newtown with a treasury of folk songs from across land and sea.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time to show up<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <em>Show Up!<\/em> exhibition is open at the Anglesea Art Space on Wednesdays to Sundays until July 17. Beginners or proficient artists alike can come sip wines, beers, cocktails or bubbles while learning step by step how to create a worthy masterpiece.
