THE Bellarine Football League premiership is headed back to Barwon Heads following a stunning 12.12.84 to 3.11.29 win by the Seagulls over the Tigers.<\/p>\n

Barwon Heads got the jump early in the contest, kicking 3.1.19 to Torquay\u2019s 1.3.9, but the game still remained in the balance.<\/p>\n

A lone goal in the second capped off an uneventful first half as both sides jostled for control, but no one could expect what would happen in the second half.<\/p>\n

The Seagulls went on to outkick Torquay eight goals to two, limiting the Tigers to its lowest score of the season.<\/p>\n

In a rewrite of the 2019 premiership decider, Barwon Heads would go on to claim the 55-point win and secure a sixth league trophy in the process.<\/p>\n

Barwon Heads had seven different goal-scorers on the day with Lachlan Wilson tallying a game-high three majors.<\/p>\n

Nick Avery, Sammy Baker and Brock Close each had a pair each, while Ryan Harvey, captain Mitch Herbison and Oliver Wiltshire all added to Barwon Heads\u2019 total.<\/p>\n
