Mixed Triples Championships are now underway, and all Pennant sides have resumed with some good results. The 21st annual Triples for Triers 2018 enters its 3rd round this week with 84 local casual bowlers enjoying the carnival atmosphere provided by a temporary marquee while the new clubhouse edges closer to completion.<\/p>\n<p>Twilight Social League winners were the Woodstone team of Aaron Wood, Matt Stone and Terry Hope.<\/p>\n<p>Jackpot Mondays will now resume with round four being played on February 5 and round five on February 19. Also, a reminder that the Invitation Triples event scheduled for February has been cancelled, the Alcoa Fours will take place on Wednesday February 14, and the Masters Pairs tournament usually held in December has been rescheduled to Wednesday February 28.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been a particularly busy festive season for barefoot bowlers from the many people enjoying their holidays in Anglesea, and a big thanks to those volunteers looking after them. Well done to recent social bowls day winners, and a happy new year and good bowling to all members and visitors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BOWLS SCHEDULE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Anyone wanting to try bowls is most welcome to contact the club.<\/p>\n<p>Regular Bowls: Mondays (12.30pm) and Saturdays (12.30pm). Match is open for entries on the day until 11am by phone or email.<\/p>\n<p>Casual Bowls: Open for members anytime; public bookings welcome.<\/p>\n<p>Friday Social: Afternoon Roll-up and Pennant Practice.
