The Links Bistro at the Lonsdale Golf Club has just released a new menu under the direction of new head chef Amanda Morrish.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Amanda has 19 years of experience within the hospitality industry, working in a wide range of venues across Australia.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve worked in small country hotels in New South Wales, large coastal pubs in Western Australia, to cafes and Italian restaurants in Victoria,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had several award nominations for the AHA for Excellence Awards, including Best Casual Dining, Contemporary Dining and Steak Restaurant to name a few.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new Links Bistro menu is inspired by local produce, incorporating a wide range of options to allow for dietary requirements.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe new menu will use local produce, fresh seafood and include gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options,\u201d Amanda said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere will also be an expansion on the kids\u2019 menu due to our playground, which makes Links Bistro a popular venue for families.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amanda loves being a chef and is passionate about ensuring her diners leave feeling happy with their experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing a chef is an art and a science and I love experimenting with different food cultures in my cooking,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome of my favourite dishes on the menu include the Moroccan chicken and the lightly dusted salt-and-pepper squid. Both of these are available on our lunch and dinner menus.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpecials including slow roasted pork belly or butter chicken curry are among my favourite meals, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

In creating the menu, Amanda has attempted to keep costs as low as possible for diners, encouraging more family nights out together at an affordable price.<\/p>\n

\u201cI began the menu process by sourcing quality products from suppliers.<\/p>\n

\u201cI incorporated my experience to cater for a broader demographic and include dishes that cater for dietary requirements, while keeping costs low for our guests.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Links Bistro is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week in January.<\/p>\n
