Footy legends arrived in Lorne last weekend for the Lorne Football Netball Club celebrity entertainment night.<\/b><\/p>\n
Big names Wayne Carey, Brian Taylor and Billy Brownless joined the Cats superstar Patrick Dangerfield at the Lorne Hotel on January 19 for a night of live auctions, music and dancing.<\/p>\n
LFNC vice-president Ian Stewart said Mick Turner and Brian Taylor played a pivotal role in the evening\u2019s success, which the club would struggle to exist financially without.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a sell-out evening and that\u2019s been the case over the past five years. Mick and Brian help put together the event making such an enormous contribution back to the community that they love and care about,\u201d Mr Stewart said.<\/p>\n
\u201cEach year it\u2019s the club\u2019s major fundraiser, there\u2019s nearly 200 people involved weekly during the season with footy and netball players and officials.
