\u201cResidents at our two Geelong villages come from all different types of backgrounds, including locals who know and love the Geelong area, Melbourne city-siders who are looking for a quieter way of life and people who have spent years living in the country now wanting a busier, more active lifestyle.<\/p>\n

At any Lendlease Retirement Village, it\u2019s often found residents are the greatest advocates for the lifestyle that the village offers and their contentment

Tannoch Brae resident Brian Brylow, 69, is involved in many aspects of life at the village.<\/p>\n

\u201cI play bocce, I\u2019m in the Book Club, I\u2019ve joined the men\u2019s shed and I volunteer as the MC for village events so that I can throw in a few jokes,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mr Howarth said Abervale residents were particularly active, often taking a variety of trips throughout the year.<\/p>\n

\u201cAbervale residents organise trips all over the coast, interstate and across Victoria, while at Tannoch Brae, the village activities coordinator fills the weekly calendar with yoga, trivia, line dancing and day trips to the Bellarine Peninsula.<\/p>\n
