\u201cOnce a new loan is in place, most banks increase your interest rates in small increments and before you know it, you could be paying up to one per cent more than the market.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn a $500,000 mortgage, you could be paying $5,000 more interest than you should be each year.<\/p>\n
