LOCAL builder Geelong Homes is promising customers will have moved into their new home within a year through their 12-month move-in guarantee.<\/p>\n

The company will start the countdown when prospective homeowners put down their deposit, vowing that the build will be handed over a year from the payment.<\/p>\n

With construction industry pressure causing cost and timeline blowouts across the industry, Geelong Homes stated that its pledge aimed to take uncertainty out of the process.<\/p>\n

“As builders with nearly 30 years’ experience building homes in the Geelong region, Geelong Homes understands the issues that can arise during the building process \u2013 particularly when it comes to timing.<\/p>\n

“To get the timing right and eliminate some of the stress that accompanies building they can offer a 12-month move-in guarantee from the day of paying your deposit \u2013 helping you avoid extended rental costs and giving you peace of mind that you’ll be in your new home sooner.<\/p>\n

“Geelong Homes wants building your new home to be an enjoyable, life-changing experience without the worry about timeframes.”<\/p>\n

Eligibility for the guarantee is subject to buyers and the titled land meeting conditions for its build readiness and with finance pre-approval.<\/p>\n

It also requires use of rendered Hebel cladding instead of brickwork. Hebel is steel reinforced, autoclaved, aerated concrete that can be built on-site and is increasing in popularity due to its energy-efficient, eco-friendly and nose reducing features.<\/p>\n

Once approved, Geelong Homes will accept a deposit before continuing with working drawings and Studio Style appointments to select personalised colours, fixtures and fittings.<\/p>\n

Geelong Homes has displays open at Coridale, Armstrong and Anchoridge estates.<\/p>\n
