REGISTRATIONS are now open for multi-award winning extreme arts walk Mountain to Mouth 2018 (M~M2018).<\/p>\n
In the tradition of Wadawurrung, M~M creates a contemporary songline traversing the City of Greater Geelong and the Borough of Queenscliffe.<\/p>\n
The walk, held from May 4 to May 5, covers 80 kilometres from the granite ranges of the You Yangs to the mouth of the Barwon River at Barwon Heads.<\/p>\n
M~M brings together art, sport and community to connect with the land.<\/p>\n
You can choose the distance, the challenge, and start or finish at any of the 12 Songline Stations on the walk.<\/p>\n
In partnership with foundation partner genU, 50 per cent of all registration fees will fund the Greening of the Songline, a planting program of trees and shrubs along the contemporary songline.<\/p>\n
