BARRY Iddles and the team at 360Q are collaborating with three Queenscliff fashion boutiques to host an exclusive ladies luncheon and fashion launch on Wednesday February 28.<\/p>\n
Owners of SUKii, Homebody Orchard and Wharf St Apparel have joined with Barry for the event and will launch their autumn and winter fashion ranges with a fashion show throughout the three-course lunch.<\/p>\n
Barry, who is a staunch advocate of collaboration between small businesses, said he was excited about bringing this event to life.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy executive assistant Lucy Carew came up with the idea and I loved it,\u201d Barry said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe idea of using our beautiful upstairs function space to showcase some of our local fashion stores is brilliant. We think the ladies of Queenscliff will love it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jacqui Sidwell, co-owner of Wharf St Apparel, said events such as this were valuable for businesses in small towns.<\/p>\n
\u201cCollaborations are great opportunities for local businesses to support their community and likewise local residents to support their local businesses all while having a great day out,\u201d Jacqui said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe would love this to become an annual event.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jacqui said there would be plenty for guests to admire from her new collections at the launch.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have some amazing knitwear to show from both Gant and Ella Sanders, some super shirting from Maison Scotch and a great range of basics as well,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
The $90 ticket price per person includes a gourmet two-course meal (main and dessert), as well as wine and bubbles throughout lunch, the fashion show and a complimentary gift bag to take home.<\/p>\n
The menu is pretty exciting too, with chicken katsu don, 360Q\u2019s amazing interpretation of a Japanese classic \u2013 chicken schnitzel with sriracha mayonnaise, ketjap manis, ginger nori rice and pickled vegetables.<\/p>\n
A trio of petit desserts, including mini banana lamingtonettes, white chocolate mousse with fresh raspberries and sticky date cakettes with whipped swiss butter icing will finish the meal.<\/p>\n
