THE leaders of Victoria\u2019s two major political parties have confirmed they will both be speaking at this year\u2019s G21 Stakeholder Forum at the RACV Torquay Resort.<\/p>\n
The annual event, which regularly sells out and draws a crowd of about 300 people, will again be dominated by Victorian politics in the lead-up to a state election, with Labor Premier Daniel Andrews and Liberal Opposition Leader Matthew Guy to take the stage on August 17 \u2013 not long before the November 24 poll.<\/p>\n
Both leaders were part of the line-up two years ago, and Mr Andrews (then Opposition Leader) also spoke at the 2014 event, held only three months before the state election.<\/p>\n
Greens politicians have also featured at the forum in the past \u2013 speakers have included Richard Di Natale and Greg Barber \u2013 and G21 is hopeful that Victorian Greens leader Samantha Ratnam will attend the 2018 event.<\/p>\n
More speakers will be confirmed closer to the event.<\/p>\n
