and ice themed Nightide event.<\/p>\n<p>The Borough beamed with electrifying music, soundscapes, enchanting activations and winter delicacies as the sun set on Saturday evening, to toast to one of the aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-71670\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-71670 size-thumbnail\" id=\"caption-attachment-71670\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Activations were held at the Searoad Ferries terminal, South Pier and along the Queenscliff foreshore.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Attendees had the chance to take a dip into inflatable ice baths and saunas, taste fine local wines and beers and cast their eyes over flaming structures and an enthralling fireworks display.<\/p>\n<p>Event producer Shaun Adams said the evening of vibrant celebrations far exceeded expectations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure energy within Queenscliff was amazing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe got very lucky with the weather, which made it even better.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere were so many special moments \u2013 the Welcome to Country, the school kids lighting up the Borough with their lanterns and award-winning opera singer Lee Abrahmsen performing before the fireworks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fire statue Pinch also had the full crowd engrossed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou don\u2019t know what to expect going into ideas like this, so to get the response we did from the community was very special.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_71673\" success of the event, Nightide will hopefully be back in the immediate future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI definitely hope we can do it again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt had fantastic support from Searoad Ferries, Queenscliff Music Festival, Borough of Queenscliffe and local artist David Beaumont.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHopefully in future years it can continue to grow into something a lot
