LADY golfers from across the region teed off at the 25th Annual Queenscliff Club Ladies Open Ambrose Competition last week.<\/p>\n
Teams came from as far as Buninyong, Peterborough and the Victoria Golf Club, with 24 teams of four players in total.<\/p>\n
The winners of the perpetual trophy, on a countback, with a nett score of 61 were the East Geelong team, comprising Shree Gevall, Lyn Thorley, Leanne McIntyre and Dianne Helis.<\/p>\n
The Curlewis teams 1, 2 and 3 scooped the pool for the rest of the prizes.<\/p>\n
The verdict for the day was \u201cgreat course, great golf, a great lunch and we will be back next year\u201d.<\/p>\n
QGC\u2019s next major event will be a fun family afternoon on Easter Sunday.<\/p>\n
