The goaler has also been part of the Geelong Cougars representative team since Under 19\u2019s and suited up for the Collingwood Magpies in the Australian Netball Championships in 2023.<\/p>\n
Woods said the timing was perfect to make the move back to her home club.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m so excited to be back at the Grubbers in 2024.<\/p>\n
\u201cI really enjoyed my time in the GNL at two amazing clubs, but everything has just fallen into place with going back to Ocean Grove and I couldn\u2019t be happier.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe prospect of chasing a premiership is huge, and something I\u2019m really excited about.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve absolutely loved seeing the club’s success and growth in the past few years and I can\u2019t wait to get started and be part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ocean Grove A\/B coach Mel Holmes said the club was over the moon to welcome Woods back to the Grubbers.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s massive for our club and we are really excited to have her back to strengthen our attacking unit in 2024,\u201d Ms Holmes said.<\/p>\n
\u201cZanna is a very creative and clever player, so she\u2019ll certainly be really dynamic for us down the attacking end.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s a quality player, a real quality person, and will be fantastic role model for our juniors.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt’s just perfect timing for us too and we are just thrilled to have her back home.\u201d<\/p>\n
