THE Borough of Queenscliffe’s Cr Isabelle Tolhurst and Cr Ross Ebbels have been re-elected as mayor and deputy mayor respectively.<\/p>\n

The pair were re-elected for a term of one year at last night\u2019s (Wednesday, November 22) council meeting.<\/p>\n

Cr Tolhurst said it was a privilege to be serving the community and leading the councillor group as mayor.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will be another big year, as the final year of the term for this Council, but this is a very dedicated group of councillors serving you who want the best for this community and work hard to make the remainder of the Council Plan a reality.<\/p>\n

She also thanked the community for their support and dedication.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are better for listening, for collaborating.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is both a commitment Council makes and an invitation to work with us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cr Ebbels has previously served as the borough\u2019s mayor for three terms, and will now be serving his second term as deputy mayor.<\/p>\n
