Photo: LEON WALKER<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The ocean swim will commence at the historic Lorne Pier, before participants embark on a 1.2km journey in the fresh water of Louttit Bay towards the foreshore where cheering crowds await their arrival.<\/p>\n<p>On average, the swim takes contestants 22 minutes, with the quickest time being 10 minutes and 30 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Established athletes, media personalities and politicians are again slated to swim in the Pier to Pub or compete in the Mountain to Surf fun-run event.<\/p>\n<p>Five-time world champion Lani Pallister, four-time Pier to Pub winner Hayden Cotter, 2024 Jim Wall Classic winner Archie Vernon, former premier of Victoria Ted Baillieu and former Victorian treasurer Josh Frydenberg will all be on the start line.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_125111\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-125111\" style=\"width: 601px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-125111 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/01\/P2P24-promo-19-of-21-scaled.jpg?_t=1704854614\" alt=\"\" width=\"601\" height=\"401\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-125111\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">2024 Jim Wall Classic winner Archie Vernon will be looking for a second win inside a week of competition.
