{"id":80334,"date":"2024-01-17T04:00:25","date_gmt":"2024-01-16T17:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/?p=80334"},"modified":"2024-01-11T11:57:41","modified_gmt":"2024-01-11T00:57:41","slug":"searoad-shuttle-returns-for-third-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/news\/searoad-shuttle-returns-for-third-summer\/","title":{"rendered":"Searoad Shuttle returns for third summer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A POPULAR shuttle service is again in operation throughout the month of January providing tourists with a means of seamless travel to popular visitor spots over summer.<\/p>\n<p>Searoad Ferries announced last week its Searoad Shuttle is up and running for a third consecutive summer, assisting foot passengers using the ferry service to get to several popular destinations across the Bellarine and Mornington Peninsulas.<\/p>\n<p>Searoad Ferries marketing lead Leanne Jones said the shuttle provided immeasurable benefits to ferry users over January.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The shuttle commenced as a trial service over the summer of 2021-22 in response to customer feedback as well as offering an additional service to take foot passengers to the townships of Queenscliff and Sorrento and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The service enables those that don&#8217;t want to bring a vehicle but would like to visit destinations such as Point Nepean National Park or the Portsea Hotel on the Mornington Peninsula or Point Lonsdale and the Lighthouse on the Bellarine.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 587px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/01\/270132123_4808212339_31119.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"587\" height=\"398\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Each coach accommodates 21 seats and travels to towns such as Point Lonsdale, Queenscliff, Sorrento and Portsea.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The shuttle&#8217;s Queenscliff stops include Queenscliff Terminal, Queenscliff Post Office, Point Lonsdale Foreshore, Point Lonsdale Lighthouse, Big4 Ingenia, and the Queenscliff Vue Grand.<\/p>\n<p>The shuttle&#8217;s Sorrento stops include Sorrento Terminal, Point Nepean Quarantine Station, Portsea Pub Hotel, and the Sorrento Township.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Jones said the Searoad Shuttle operated daily from 9.45am to 4.45pm until January 31.<\/p>\n<p>Each bus coach accommodates 21 seats with each user paying a flat $5 rate when they hop on the bus.
