Following a successful tour in early 2023 with his Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum alt-rock band Everclear, Art Alexakis will return to Australian shores next month to play hits and fan favourites from his extensive catalogue.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fans will have the chance to hear classics such as “Santa Monica”, “Father Of Mine”, “I Will Buy You A New Life”, “Everything To Everyone”, and many more, performed stripped back in an intimate acoustic setting.<\/p>\n

The national run of dates – which includes Geelong – will also see Brendan B. Brown of US pop\/rock outfit Wheatus join as support.<\/p>\n

Expect to hear anthemic chart topper “Teenage Dirtbag”, along with a selection of songs from Wheatus\u2019 five albums.<\/p>\n

Both artists\u2019 solo sets will also see them telling in-depth stories behind each of their songs and interacting with the audience, giving fans the unique opportunity to ask each of the artists questions throughout the evening.<\/p>\n

Promoters are touting the tour as a unique and interactive show fans will not want to miss.<\/p>\n

\u201cEver since the early days of Everclear I\u2019ve enjoyed going out and performing solo,” Alexakis said.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s a way for me to peel back the layers and get to the core of what I\u2019m trying to communicate through my songwriting.<\/p>\n

“Australia has always been like a second home to me and I\u2019m excited to be coming back solo after our amazing tour this past February.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m going to be performing the Everclear hits, fan favorites, deep tracks, maybe a song or two from my solo record, and possibly even a cover.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m stoked to be bringing Brendan from Wheatus with me.<\/p>\n

“They toured with us in the States on our Summerland Tour in 2021 and we became very good friends and big admirers of each other\u2019s work, so it\u2019s a dream come true to be able to tour together again.\u201d<\/p>\n
