BELLARINE Community Health (BCH) has advanced their Health and Wellbeing Hub project in Ocean Grove by appointing Loaram Constructions to lead the construction’s initial phase.<\/p>\n
The project is anticipated to reach completion by the end of August this year.<\/p>\n
BCH chief executive officer Garry Ellis said the company was thrilled to be working with Loaram Constructions.<\/p>\n
“Loaram has a proven track record having completed the redevelopment of the BCH Portarlington site last year.<\/p>\n
“The hub will provide the Bellarine community equitable access to quality health services and supports and enhance our capacity to engage with children, young people and their families.”<\/p>\n
Situated on Goodwell Drive within Kingston Estate, the land for this project was provided by the Kingston Ocean Grove development company.<\/p>\n
The project’s first stage received substantial financial support, including $4 million from the federal government’s Department of Health and Aged Care and $150,000 from the Anthony Costa Foundation.<\/p>\n
This phase will feature modern assessment, therapy, and sensory spaces, outdoor therapy areas, and group rooms designed for children, all within an inviting and stimulating setting.<\/p>\n
BCH Community Health is seeking further funding to realise the second stage of the hub and is open to expressions of interest from philanthropic entities keen on bolstering services for the young population in Bellarine.<\/p>\n
This expansion would centralise a wide array of services for children and youths at a single location in Bellarine with the aim of improving access and streamlining care pathways.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
