{"id":8183,"date":"2018-03-28T09:53:58","date_gmt":"2018-03-28T09:53:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/?p=8183"},"modified":"2018-04-02T04:54:20","modified_gmt":"2018-04-02T04:54:20","slug":"roos-win-cricket","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/news\/roos-win-cricket\/","title":{"rendered":"Roos win cricket"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ANGLESEA has defeated Ocean Grove to take out this year\u2019s 2018 A Grade Bellarine Peninsula Cricket Association final 9\/221(dec) to Ocean Grove\u2019s 160.<\/p>\n<p>Sitting on top of the ladder, Anglesea finished a dominant season that saw them record eight wins, two draws and a loss to take the cup in the first innings at Ron Evans Oval.<\/p>\n<p>Anglesea Captain Ned Cooper scored 127 for the premiers, supported by Brett Venables who scored 31.<\/p>\n<p>Cooper was awarded Man of the Match.<\/p>\n<p>In the Geelong Cricket Association Division 2 Turfs 1sts, Bell Park was awarded the premiership after their match against Torquay ended in a draw.
