The Australian Golf Digest review praised Curlewis for its diverse shot options and highlighted the club’s modern and multi-functional facilities, stating that the core of the club remains its golf course, which continues to improve.<\/p>\n
Course superintendent Rob Bradley attributed the impressive ranking to the club’s dedication to ongoing course innovations and enhancements.<\/p>\n
“We have finished off the fairway improvement programme with the final line planting of Santa Ana couch into the last of the lesser fairways,” he said.<\/p>\n
“We now have 15 hectares of fairway area compared to 9 hectares in 2015,” Mr Bradley said.<\/p>\n
“Reshaping of tees, fairways and surrounds has also been a focus to facilitate better shot making.”<\/p>\n
The team is also engaged in ongoing re-vegetation work to restore indigenous plants and remove introduced species.<\/p>\n
“I love the fact we are still providing a golf course with the original heath land feel without compromising a day of enjoyable golf by long rough,” Mr Bradley said.<\/p>\n
Beyond the fairways, Curlewis boasts a $20 million clubhouse, accommodation facility and award-winning French fusion restaurant Claribeaux.<\/p>\n
