GEELONG midfielder Tanner Bruhn has inked a two-year extension on his deal with the Geelong Football Club, keeping him at GMHBA Stadium until at least the end of 2027.<\/p>\n
At only 22, Bruhn has emerged as one of the club’s most prominent midfielders since coming to the club during the 2022 trade period from the Greater Western Sydney Giants and featuring in 29 of a possible 36 games since then.<\/p>\n
Cats general manager of football Andrew Mackie said the extension was a result of a lot of hard work and the club is excited to have him at the Cattery for a further two years.<\/p>\n
“We are thrilled for Tanner to extend for a further two seasons with us and have him committed to the club until at least the end of 2027.<\/p>\n
“Tanner has a bright future, and we are excited to see him grow alongside our group of emerging young players.”<\/p>\n
Originally from Geelong, Bruhn played his junior football for Newtown & Chilwell before being drafted to GWS with the 12th selection of the AFL draft.<\/p>\n
Bruhn has averaged a career-high disposals (18.5), tackles (4.6), clearances (5.5) and score involvements (4.1) in 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
