A MUCH-LOVED Ocean Grove restaurant will sling its final pizzas, steaks and decadent wines this weekend.<\/p>\n

After 13 and a half years in the old fire station at 24 Hodgson Street, the owners of local favourite Napona are shutting their doors.<\/p>\n

In a statement on Napona’s Facebook page, owners Will and Kristy said they had chosen not to continue with the lease of the property for a multitude of reasons, including economic forecasts, and a desire to explore different opportunities and give more priority to their young family.<\/p>\n

Napona were well regarded for their pizzas, wines and steaks.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

 <\/p>\n

They said closing down Napona certainly came with a touch of sadness.<\/p>\n

“We cannot express enough gratitude for the relationships we’ve built over the years with customers, our suppliers, and all our awesome staff.<\/p>\n

“We’ve watched families grow, staff grow from kids to adults, made friends and had some truly great times.”<\/p>\n

The restaurant will be open for dinner tonight (Friday, July 12) and tomorrow from 5.30pm.<\/p>\n

“We would love to see you for one last dinner, wine or take away pizza.<\/p>\n

“We’d love the opportunity to show our appreciation for your support over the years.”<\/p>\n
