Photos: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Funds raised were directed towards primary and secondary school student scholarships, Rotary International projects and disaster relief and community organisations.<\/p>\n<p>Lynne Carlson officially handed over the presidency baton to Meredith O&#8217;Neill for the 2024-25 Rotary year.<\/p>\n<p>Ms O&#8217;Neill is a long-time club board member and said she looked forward to leading the club forward.<\/p>\n<p>Joining her in leadership positions are Lynne Carlson (vice-president),Rod Bush (secretary), Lyndy Stagg (president elect) and John Paton (treasurer).<\/p>\n<p>On the evening, club service awards were presented to David Larkin, Rodney Birrell, Rod Bush, Kath Venters, Peter Cowburn, John Karis Heather Willson, Lisa Hanley, Noel Emselle, Andrea Tierney, Meredith O&#8217;Neill and Lynne Carlson.<\/p>\n<p>Martin Geerings earned Life Membership for his thirty years of service.<\/p>\n<p>Further information on the programs and activities of the Rotary Club of Ocean Grove in 2024-25 can be found on the Ocean Grove Rotary website.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ROTARY Club of Ocean Grove celebrated the successes of its 2023-24 season and inducted new board members at its Changeover Dinner last week.
