Local youngster Elle Boyd was recognised at the awards for her ongoing determination, hard work and motivation towards the growth and betterment of the club.<\/p>\n
Since joining OGBC over a year ago through a partnership with disability provider genU, Elle has shown an uncompromising commitment in the face of adversity.<\/p>\n
“There is no one with greater resilience or determination than Elle,” Mr O’Neill said.<\/p>\n
“Over the past year, her role in the member experience team at the Ocean Grove Bowling Club has demonstrated her infectious enthusiasm, which has positively impacted both our team and our members.”<\/p>\n
Elle has been using her spare time outside of the club to volunteer at the Salvation Army Op Shop Ocean Grove and the Bellarine Outreach Van.<\/p>\n
“Her transition to working at the club highlights her perseverance and value. Elle’s impact on the community is profound, promoting inclusivity and belonging, making her an exceptional recipient for this award.<\/p>\n
