She is Australia\u2019s leading lady of musical theatre. He is Australia\u2019s leading song and dance man. Together, on stage, these two stars are shining brightly in their new show, Bosom Buddies, visiting Geelong later this month as part of a national tour.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nancye Hayes and Todd McKenney are pals, chums, bosom buddies, and have worked together many times.<\/p>\n

In their new show, Bosom Buddies, they reflect on their long stage careers and their life in showbiz.<\/p>\n

They sing, they dance, they reminisce, about the lows as well as the highs.<\/p>\n

They tell stories never before told and show video footage never before seen.<\/p>\n

As part of each performance the audience is offered the opportunity to ask the questions they\u2019ve always wanted to ask.<\/p>\n

The recipient of many industry awards, including three Lifetime Achievement Awards, three Helpmanns, four Green Room, two Glugs and a Mo, Nancye Hayes OAM, AM is an actor, dancer, singer, choreographer and director who began her career in My Fair Lady in 1961 and established her name in the title role in Sweet Charity in 1967.<\/p>\n

Since then she has sung, danced and acted her way through a cavalcade of successes and into the hearts of Australian theatre-goers.<\/p>\n

Inspiring, provocative and compelling are just three words that describe the critically acclaimed and award-winning singer, dancer, actor and all-round entertainer Todd McKenney.<\/p>\n

Probably best known as the controversial judge on the Channel 7 hit series Dancing With the Stars for an incredible 15 seasons, as well as his towering performance as Peter Allen in the Australian production of The Boy From Oz for three years, Todd has been centre stage in Australia for more than 35 years.<\/p>\n

In 2007, Nancye and Todd delighted audiences throughout Australia with the enormously successful production of the touching comedy play Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks.<\/p>\n

Now, reunited on stage, they will talk about their lives in showbiz \u2013 and the music, the stories, the laughs that stopped the show.<\/p>\n

Bosom Buddies will thrill both old and new fans.<\/p>\n

Bosom Buddies comes to Geelong Performing Arts Centre for two performances only, on April 28 at 2pm and 8pm.<\/p>\n
