{"id":9164,"date":"2018-04-18T05:54:51","date_gmt":"2018-04-18T05:54:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/?p=9164"},"modified":"2018-04-20T08:53:30","modified_gmt":"2018-04-20T08:53:30","slug":"fishos-paddle-finale-enjoys-epic-end","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/sport\/fishos-paddle-finale-enjoys-epic-end\/","title":{"rendered":"Fishos paddle finale enjoys epic end"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THE finale of the Fishos Paddle Series \u2013 now officially known as the Victorian Ocean Racing Series Championships, wrapped up on Friday night in fading light, breaking waves and big smiles.<\/p>\n<p>It was an epic last race with a fantastic course out to Point Danger back around to Whites Beach before finishing at Fishermans Beach.<\/p>\n<p>With pumping waves all along the Surf Coast this week the course got competitors very excited having to deal with some cracking waves off Point Danger.<\/p>\n<p>Interstate competitor Joel Savage, down from Townsville, thought he was on a winner until he met the Point Danger reef!
